ABSTRACT:

This program will examine the concept of critical project planning functions and demonstrate how to convert the fundamental project plan into a fully integrated precedence diagram to be used to develop and manage resource allocations, cost distribution, and “domino” effect risk identification and impact analysis.

Participants will learn how to take advantage of the power of WBS and PDM in creating a comprehensive Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) as the basis for ongoing project status assessment, variance analysis and forecasting of “cause and effect” implications resulting from the actual vs expected condition.

Professional utilization of the “decision support” information that will be generated as a result of effectively using the tools of the trade will significantly enhance the user’s contribution to achieving business objectives, while enhancing their personal value to the organization as a whole.
