The Integrated Project Schedule is the catalyst for identifying and dealing with many project problems—including unrealistic estimating--and the resulting corrective action decisions. The Integrated Project Schedule is the basis for determining human and other resource allocations, and as a derivative of those resource allocations, the synchronized project time phased cost plan will be established. Not only will the use of this Integrated Project Schedule determine the myriad dependent relationships between work packages and the realistic time required to complete the work, it establishes the ability to assess a variety of “what if” investigations to respond to project technical problems, resource constraints, and “critical path compression requests—sometimes unrealistic. Students will learn how to determine what work packages have float and what kind of float it is and how it can be used. Join Lee R. Lambert as he explains the PMBOK® supported Precedence Diagramming Methodology (PDM) through the use of Analysis Bar Charting (ABC).
