One of the value add services we provide is meeting with corporate executives who are implementing, or considering implementing, a project management methodology in their organization. We spend time with the executives to determine their current status and to advise as to how best to proceed to ensure that the project management objectives are met. We provide status overview and recommend next steps, including policy, procedures and training. We will analyze the organizational readiness to implement project management. This assessment includes identifying strengths and weaknesses of current organizational structure, support systems, including IT and finance, and the skill set deficiencies within the existing staffing. This service is provided with minimal interruption of ongoing activities through a carefully crafted interviewing process that enables us to gather a plethora of vital information in a very short period of time.
Several years ago, we recognized our responsibility to "give back" to the profession. As a result we began to offer a series of "brown bag" luncheon presentations to companies within a 100 miles radius of Columbus, OH. These one hour lectures are conducted during the lunch and are provided at no cost to the requesting organization. The topics covered are tailored to the specific areas of project management interests of the host company. There is no cost for this service. We are happy to share our knowledge and expertise with those who are working to make project management a viable and valuable element of their business operation. Since we initiated this lunch lecture program dozens of clients have capitalized on the opportunity to learn from one of the profession's thought leaders.
